Youth Advisory Board
Hamza Sulemana
Hamza Sulemana, 25, is studying Social Change Communication at the University for Development Studies. As a passionate advocate for social change, he has been recognized with several awards, including the Youth Peace Ambassador honor from FOSDA and the Outstanding Student Journalist of the Year at the 2020 National Students Prestigious Awards. Hamza brings his extensive experience and innovative ideas to the Youth Advisory Board to enhance the foundation's impact.
Dorcas Lotsu
Dorcas Lotsu is a multilingual professional with expertise in Translation, Supply Chain Management, and Procurement. She holds a degree in Language Translation and Interpretation and is certified in Chinese. Fluent in English, French, Chinese, and Portuguese, Dorcas aspires to become a diplomat, with the aim of fostering international relations and global cooperation.
Francis Oko Armah
Francis Oko Armah is a seasoned youth development practitioner with over a decade of experience in youth programming, gender, and communications. He has worked with organizations like Marie Stopes Ghana and UNFPA, managing youth-led projects and events. Francis has organized significant youth programs on HIV & SRHR, engaging thousands of youth delegates at ICASA conferences.
Mawuena Azumah
Mawuena Azumah is a communications professional with over five years of experience. She holds a B.A. in Communications and is a Programs Assistant at YBF, where she develops initiatives for youth empowerment and social inclusion. Mawuena is passionate about amplifying marginalized voices and addressing critical issues like climate change and youth inclusion.
Agripah Opoku
Agripah Opoku, a former Vice President of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at KNUST, is currently studying Law at the same university. He holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and serves as the Assembly member for North Suntreso. Agripah is active in various committees within the Bantama Sub Metro, contributing to environmental, developmental, and financial initiatives.
Sharon Asenso
Sharon Asenso is a student specializing in climate change and sustainable development at the University of Energy and Natural Resources. Interning with YBF, she contributes to youth and community engagement initiatives and serves as president of the Association of Women in Climate Sciences. Sharon is dedicated to addressing climate change issues through her academic and professional pursuits.
Isaac Yeboah Afari
Isaac Yeboah Afari, from Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region, is pursuing a PhD in Arts Education at the University of Cape Coast. He works as the Gender and Disability Manager at the Youth Employment Agency. Isaac is an active social activist, participating in seminars and conferences on youth and disability rights. He has been involved with the Youth Bridge Foundation since 2014 and currently serves on its Youth Advisory Board.
Sharon Oteng
Based in Toronto, Canada, Sharon Oteng holds a B.A. in Management from Eckerd College and postgraduate degrees in Event Management and Hospitality & Tourism Operations Management. Her passion for management and events is inspired by her father. Sharon interned with YBF in 2018, participated in AYGC events, and has international experience from her studies and travels across multiple countries.
Rhodaline Kessewaah Andoh
Rhodaline Kessewaah Andoh is a second-year law student at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. She is passionate about justice and legal problem-solving, actively participating in moot court and legal research. Rhodaline brings her analytical skills and enthusiasm for the law to the advisory board, aiming to foster dynamic legal discourse.
