Youth Bridge Foundation (YBF), the convener of African Youth and Governance Conference (AYGC) has announced that the 9th edition of her flagship event, scheduled for 7th – 13th August in Nigeria will be officially opened by Former President of Nigeria, His Excellency Olusegun Obansanjo.
“AYGC, Abeokuta 2017 is with the partnership of the Youth Development Centre of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL). And, the former President of Nigeria would grace the event as the Guest of Honour and the Keynote Speaker for the official opening,” Seth Oteng, Executive Director of the leading continental youth development and empowerment organization disclosed in Nigeria.
Mr. Oteng applauded the former president for his commitment to sound leadership, governance, culture and socio-economic development of Africa through OOPL.
Placing high value on intergenerational Mentorship Dialogue, The former President would be speaking on the topic: Preserving the Past, Capturing the Present and Inspiring the Future key to harnessing Africa’s Demographic Dividend.
His Excellency Obasanjo who has just been appointed the Chairman of World’s Ex-President would also hold a brief dialogue with youth participants from over 30 African countries at AYGC 2017.
