Youth Bridge Foundation’s West Africa Sub-Regional Youth Advisory Board (WAYAB)

About WAYAB

As YBF expands in its mobilization and engagements across Africa, the Foundation strives to build structures that can support and improve the coordination across the various African blocs. The West Africa Sub-Regional Youth Advisory Board (WAYAB) is one such structure that would support and enhance visibility and coordination across the West African bloc. This is a Board composed of young native African residents in any of the 16 West African Countries. The establishment of the Board is part of the institutional strengthening mechanisms supported by the Youth in Action (Y-ACT) and Amref Health Africa that seek to advance youth inclusive development agenda in the sub-region.

The Board would serve as an expansion of the Youth Advisory Board that currently leads all programmatic interventions of the Foundation. It would also be the focal point in driving and shaping youth-friendly programmatic interventions in the West African sub-region.
